Racing Seat

We’ve a long history of gaming systems and hardware, and over the last two months we’ve spent the most of our time on two VR3 gaming seats! This ‘gaming revolution’ isn’t just another gaming chair, or gaming rocker – its the high end of gaming systems for the ultimate experience, combining playability and realism. Home entertainment is about the experience, and this is what VisionRacer delivers.
To really test the system, we installed the Logitech G25 steering wheel which delivers the ultimate in force feedback, and if you combine that with a good set of speakers to deliver the bass, then you have the ultimate machine. The VR3 is expensive – although it delivers the ultimate gaming seat experience. If money wasn’t an issue, VisionRacer is the PS3 Gaming Chair winner. We installed a Samsung 24″ with HDMI – and the screen and visuals matched well with the steering wheel and Logitech speakers. There is no point in using cheap speakers or a small LCD – you’ll need to invest in a good set. The VR3 is the ultimate gaming seat, so dont go cheap on the accessories. It’s times like this where professional consultancy and installation has to be considered to get the most out of the system. At Gaming Seat we can provide home installation, supply and support if required. We also found that after several hours playing (seriously we couldn’t get off it), that we weren’t in discomfort. VisionRacer is on its 3rd deisgn now, which is why its both comfortable and realistic. Its obvious a lot of effort has gone into the design phase here, providing a solid ergonomically correct chair. The VisionRacer fitted with gear shift control and force feedback steering wheel is fantastic – a neccessary combination. The VisionRacer is currently under testing in a 3 Screen PC configuration running the G25 steering wheel (which is PC and PS3 Compatible). If you are undecided between the PS3 and PC as the engine, the steering wheel compatibility for PC’s and PS3’s is a useful consideration, which the G25 is. If you have young children, you’ll need a couple of cushions to shift them forward, though in all honesty, this isn’t a game for young children at this expense, its a serious investment for the die hard gamers. In summary, the VR3 is best of breed as far as gaming seats go. The VisionRacer will do the Racing Game industry, what the Wii did to Console Games…its all good.
