There can’t be many people who do not know the most popular computer video games consoles that are so popular around the world. We make comparisons between the three systems and we only think in terms of the graphics capability but we should look at how they are operated using the games controllers provided in the budle you buy.

You probably don’t think much about the importance of the controllers you use but there are peaople who spend their lives designing them and here we look at how they compare. We were all impressed with the first Xbox and it came with the controller known as the duke controller.

Microsoft was quick to discover that people found the controller was too large to use comfortably so they didn’t enjoy playing the Xbox so much. Realizing the problem they released an alternative controller known as the S model which is much like the one now used in the Xbox 360.

The the Xbox 360 version is now the most comfortable and most convenient to use. The Playstation 3 controller while it may look a little different is not as different as it might look.

It is not totally disimilar from the the PS2’s having had some changes internally. When it first came out there was another controller supplied was more revolutionary but the altered layout wasn’t a great success and soon disappeared.

Most people feel sure this was because the controller didn’t work as well as the one we had been using for years on the PS2. The right descision may have been made in the end but Sony will have to get it right preparing their next new games system whenever that is due.

There is nothing basically wrong with the current system but a new system will mean people expect high standards with the control systems in any new games console released. There are fewer customers with spare money these days and it may be a while before gamers get what they want.

The last machine we look at is the Nintendo Wii games console controllers which changed the market. The Wiimote controller you get with the Wii bundle being very different is nothing like older and more established console controllers.

The designers were thinking outside the box with the wiimote with a novel that it has changed the type of people who like to play games thanks to the way of controlling games you are playing. The wiimote is a greater change than any other controller we have seen since the earliest days of computer games.

We should be grateful for the wonderful way this technology has been developed and is being used to add to your enjoyment and I feel sure this is the future direction for computer games. When the Wii bundles were first released hardened gamers dismissed the lack of powerful graphics computer chips but they failed to notice what a significant change the wii brought with it’s controllers.

It will be fascinating to discover what the next generation of games systems and and if price is no problem these are the ones to get. Chances are they will all be interactive and who knows what new features they might offer us and give us a whole new era in gaming enjoyment.
